The story of a woman, mother, and wife trying to get her family back to her hometown of Chico, California.

The Story Thus Far....

I was raised in Chico, California. I consider it my hometown, even though I
wasn't born there.
I moved away when I was 19 because there just wasn't enough job opportunity. I had a year-old daughter, was engaged to her father, and was pregnant with another little one. But we still took off, thinking we were never going to look back.I often visit my friends and family in Chico, and every time I get inside the city limits, I feel like I'm home. I LOVE that feeling, and I've been wanting to move back for the past 5 years or so. Recently Chico has experienced a HUGE growth surge, and a resulting employment boom. My husband has been having problems with this company for the last 3 years because they just don't appreciate hard work. The bottom line is more important. So, yesterday he came home and informed me they had screwed him again, and this is just the push we need to get back to Chico. YEY! There are so many reasons I love Chico. Come back often, as I'll be posting them all along with the saga of making our way back up north and re-establishing our family.
